Soragim (Between the Bars) is a series of 30 graphite drawings that replicate a performance work I made in 2013, also titled Soragim, in which I built and then occupied the in-between space of a freestanding window and its bars. I wove white yarn between the bars until disappearing into a field of white. Likewise, the drawings progress from 1 to 30 as a painted line weaves through ornamental window bars, eventually creating a textural "woven" wall across the page.
